Since April 2021 we are offering self-organized education at our new school in Taha. Finally, the youths have the opportunity to obtain a graduation which allows them get a job. The complete program is almost completely free of charge for them, because we don’t want a tenuous financial conditon be an obstacle for education.
The revenues of the sponsorships are being used 100% for the running of the school. In particular it is being used for the following causes:
• Salaries for qualified teachers and addional personnel
• Schooling materials for the classes and the homework
• Hygiene items: All students and employes are provided with a nosemask and disinfectant.
• Scholarships: The West African Examination Council demands a registration fee for the final exams.
• Other purposes: Bicycles for a faster way to school, workshops, etc.
The frame conditions for a sponsorship are as follows:
• Costs: Each month we substract 20€ from the sponsor’s account. For this the Taha-school-project e.V. needs a SEPA mandate.
• Continuity: The sponsorship persists for indefinite time, since the students are supported collectively and continously over several cohorts.
• Termination: At all times and coming into effect with the first of the next month.
• Solidarity: All revenues will be used 100% for the running of the school. They go into a pool from which all students are fostered equally.
As a sponsor you are making a valuable contribution to the improvement of the future perspectives of the children from Taha. The youths are incredibly thankful for your support. Other benefits you receive in return are as follows:
